Finger Lakes

Bostwick Auctions & Gallery
Located on State Route 96 (Owego Rd), a state road that links Owego and Ithaca (NY) in the tiny town of Catatonk (Candor’s Zip 13743), NY about 3 miles north of Owego and approximately 25 miles south of Ithaca.   607-659-4842

From Syracuse, they suggest taking Rte 81S to the Cortland/Homer Exit. Go to the end of the long ramp & go left. Stay on that road all the way to Owego you will go maybe 45 miles. (That road will change names & Rte numbers, but will ultimately be Rte 38S). When you get to the very edge of Owego you’ll come to a light with a bridge to your right. Go right & cross the bridge (Towards Ithaca), we’ll be about 3.5 miles on your right.
Their web site (click name above) provides information about all auctions, with a plethora of pictures. Local lodging is also recommended. Note, Kim, serves wonderful sandwiches, salads, fried food, and a dinner special, serves breakfast for early auctions.

.. others:

Crossroads Auction Center
.. does not support other local antique related businesses by advertising in the Greater Syracuse Antiques Guide, published each year by Tom Miller, owner of Serendipity: Antiques, Artwork & Goodies in N. Syracuse.  Tom also owns and maintains this web site for those that advertise in the “Guide”, and for many who do not.  In the desire to support the Crossroads Auction Center business, in spite of their decision not to join the community of antique businesses, they are included on this page of the web site.  You will have to look for a hyperlink to their web site elsewhere.

If you advertise in the “Guide”, I urge you to encourage Crossroads to consider advertising next year.  They should support the antique dealers in the area by sharing advertising expenses.  Dealers attend the auctions, bid against each other and the public, and help Crossroads survive.

Brzostek’s Auction Service
.. Brzostek is also not supporting the Greater Syracuse Antiques Guide, published each year by Tom Miller, because Tom insulted his man Donald Trump in an email. If you want to go to his web site, you’ll have to look elsewhere.

Please let the business you call, email or visit know you found them at “www.cnyAntiques.com“.

If you are in a business which a typical antiques person might find useful or interesting, and wish to advertise here, contact Tom via Serendipity@CentralNY.twcbc.com (store, best) or TomMiller@twcny.rr.com (home).
If you found an area that needs attention, I’d appreciate an email. Encouraging emails are always appreciated!

Thanks for visiting.  Happy Trails.
